When Germany invaded European nations in World War II, it issued special “Reich’s Credit Treasury Notes” to circulate alongside the currency of the occupied countries. The notes were legal tender in the Nazi-occupied nations… and served as chilling reminders of the occupying powers. At the end of the war, most of these currency notes were destroyed because of their connection to the Nazi regime. Ironically, they are now scarce collectors’ items that are sought-after by collectors and historians alike. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a set of three original, beautifully printed notes in a truly historic set.
