In 2002, the U.S. Mint shocked the world when it made a “secret” mintage of Sacagawea Golden Dollars and Kennedy Half Dollars. These coins were made in very small editions and were not released into circulation. Instead, they were made available only to collectors… and today, they are virtually impossible to find. This collection includes the complete set of 2002 “secret” coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
