On September 2, 1945, Japan brought World War II to an end by signing the official Instrument of Surrender aboard the U.S.S. Missouri in Tokyo Bay. The document was presented to President Harry S. Truman, and it is displayed today in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. This superb replica is printed on antiqued parchment paper to give it the look and feel of the original document. It is an impressive 11" x 14" and is perfect for framing as one of the most important documents of the 20th century.
