One of America’s first $5 bills was the classic “Woodchopper” Legal Tender Note. This stunning example is from the Series of 1907. The front depicts a woodchopper and his pioneer family on the American frontier. It is a remarkable design that captures a unique era in American history. Most of these notes were used in circulation almost 100 years ago, and very few have survived in Fine condition – a nice mid-grade for a bank note of this age.
